Just a quick question. Are we supposed to believe that if we didn't get the waitlist willingness email then we are rejected?

If i am not alloted a seat after say round-2 (i.e still in waitlist), Can I withdraw from the admission process and claim for my 20K ??

***** IIM Rohtak corruption scandal********** How can we not oppose 20k step? Is it first time or happened previously too? Is every new iim gonna do it to consider us in wait list? Just to be considered in wait list without even knowing my wl number I will be atrocious splurging 20k in a jiffy to give as a bribe .. isn't 20 k the bribe .. why can't they charge something within the limit like 2k .. isn't charging this much exorbitant not like swindling innocent students for financial gains.. if there is any lawyer in a group u need to act on these mofo mendicants asking indirect form of bribe .. and here I was wondering I will file RTI to know my wat pi marks and other section marks and overall rank/cs. Why can't iim rohtak follow other old iims and display wait list and results as is without any money clause? Isn't this corruption? How can we support such ridiculous indirect form of corruption? Shame on such institute and ao people and it's seniors who are supporting such filthy thing of looting students just to consider in the wait list. Anyone paid 20k yet? If yes, please share your waitlist number so that we have an idea about upper limit of waitlist...mention your category as well.
Guys regarding the 20k we can all send mail to the director's office. Why can't they follow the process followed by the old IIMs. Why do they need any money whatsoever to even include people in the waitlist or give their waitlist numbers ? What they should do is - 1. Either give the waitlist numbers without any charges and then we can decide. 2. Or if they do take those 20k, it should be completely refundable or maybe refund after taking a token amount, irrespective of whether I am able to convert and then not join or unable to convert at all. Now, it would be great if someone can prepare a template and everyone can send the same email to the Director. Whatsay puys?
Guys let's tweet and bring down such ridiculous corruption tactics. There is no objective of vilifying but state in your tweets the email snapshot of institute asking the indirect bribe

this 20k will be deducted if we withdraw before 29th june right? I remember seeing 18th may as the date in the email

Payment for waiting list consideration can be done by card?????
For waiting list payment . Free type * is?...
Is that the final wait list or further wait-list will come considering the fact they made mandatory to pay 20k for everyone. So if huge withdrawal comes in future, then to accommodate that will they release wait-list in upcoming rounds?
