I also get a seat in pcte for pgdm...but its not worth doin pgdm....its better doing MBA in pcte...wait for MET results...and do MBA....i'm also doing the same thing.


yar is pcte really a gud college fr doing mba ????? i have less knowledge abt this clg as i am frm delhi bt internet reviews says that it is a gud clg.

n i have nt given met bt dey told that u will get admission in 2nd counselling

Pcte is the best college in punjab after UBS and GNDU campus.
There were around 800 students in gd/pi for 25-30 seats of management quota.So this will give you idea abt pcte.
Have you given gd/pi there neha??

yes i have given the gd pi n i have cleared it i m selected for the normal seat nt the management qouta .

i gave may MAT exam n my percentile was 85.46
n rank jo clg ki list lagne ke baad ayi hai that is 65 so 2nd counselling mein aa jaega jo list shayad next mon ko lagne wali hai

i am also looking answer to this question.however there pgdm started in 2010.but i guess it is not of much use as it is a new course

regarding there admission procedure they take they take through mat n cat n met this is punjab state test.they have less seats for mat .mat score of 600 is required n abt gd pi i have no idea but they also look for ur 10 12 marks. i hope i helped bt if u get any info abt pcte share it on pagal guy as i have still some doubts about pgdm :

Actually I'm planning to pursue this programme from PCTE & in case I get a seat there, I'll most probably consider that bcoz the good thing is that although this is a new course, but the practical content is more in this prog. as compared to regular MBA (as told to me by one of the senior there) & secondly, it is not affiliated to PTU.

BTW have you got seat in regular MBA there or you are still confused as to whether go for PGDM or not?:lookround:

Pls guide us as to whether 'PGDM' is going to be decent option to go with considering the above mentioned facts?
Please help friends as only a little time is left for the admission deadlines to cross !

r u from delhi ncr region or from punjab only?

Guys my friends did mba from pcte and they are very dissappointed , they were placed in companies and banks with very low package. In punjab your best bet would be PU Chd. Lovely is also not really gud compared to all other b-schools...

So, in punjab, there is only PU chd which is decent for MBA. What about rest of them, any opinions?
