The first batch of PGDM will be passin out in 2012. Executives prgm has been running here for 2 yrs..avg placements for them has been in 7 digits.
Since cutoffs for NMAT2010 was 233/360 for both mum n bangalore, i dont see any difference in placements.

I doubt placement scenario would be good at NM Bangalore. They had no placement officer last year and also there is no last year's placement data on website.
Also I heard from a friend @ NM that there are many internal issues including a symbiosis fired employee as placements head and no support in placements from their Mumbai branch.
Programs at mumbai include MBAs... but those in Bangalore are 2 year PG Diploma and some executive programs for people with experience.

The PGDM course has been started from this year only. So obviously the placement data is not available.
About the executive batch, all the batch has been placed with an average package of 7-digits and only two participants were not placed because they wanted a specific profile in specific companies.
There is no difference between MBA and PGDM, even IIM's offer PGP in Management, what matters is the course content and here is the link for the same and you can check with other colleges, our course structure is more exaustive and up-to-date than most of the MBA college.

Dude no offence... but even an outsider like me has more information on your college than you.
Fact #1 : From the executive program the college could place only 22 out of 30 students.
Fact #2 : There was no placement officer last year.
Fact #3 : The degree nomenclature becomes important in certain cases like immigration points or even if you wish to go for further education. For example those who do 1 years MBAs cannot apply to Phd or MPhil. programs as stated by AICTE.
Fact #4 : When I said no data is there on web-site... it was obviously meant for the executive program and not PG Diploma.
I have done my homework and I am aware that PGDM was started this year only. Besides I have done thorough research on many other B-Schools as well. So do not put incorrect information here and mislead others into making a wrong decision.
This forum is there to help fellow aspirants with right information and not image building.
Dude what ur issue??
u need to get ur facts right..
Fact #1 out of 30, 22 were placed initilly, n d rest were still pursuing their internship. as far as the latest data is dey are placed wid a package of 10+
Fact#2 There was a proper placement procedure. Mr. Vinod madhavan was looking after it, not exactly as a plcement officer but being a small batch it was not needed.
fact#3- its a 2 yr program n it has d support of NM
Fact#4- i agree website is not updated properly but we are working on it, and within few days ull find all d data der
N u are right next year will be the second batch for PGDM.
not sure but weekend executive batch was the first thing to start, right now its having arnd 150+ students, who are in very good companies, which also builds a brand image of NM-B in bangalore2
So, u do not put any wrong info and mislead the students
and am a students of PGDM n am really satisfied wid everything happening on campus.

Your frustration is showing miss.
My issue - if you consider it an issue - is that you folks are creating a wrong image by posting wrong facts.
I can understand where you folks are coming from. Just because you folks made decision to join a "not so good" institute, you should not mislead others. If all what you said is right, I would like to see it on your institute's website.
Besides I am sure the placement info will never come there as what you are telling is a blatant lie.
As a matter of fact there was one guy who opted for HR last year in that batch of 30 - he is still jobless as per my information. So don't lie to others and don't lie to yourself.
There is something called ethics. Google it if they have not told you about importance of ethics in every action.
This will be my last post on this thread as I don't believe in replying to lies.

fact is d last few who were not placed are now placed by future group wid a package of 10+. I know der was only one who opted for HR, n i i do not have d info regarding him.
Website is being updated n dats d only reason d current placement figures are not der.
n u know waht am not a employee of Nm or from some PR agency who iss being paid to say lies, am a student here n i see no reason why I shud be answering ur questions apart from d fact that i know u r wrong and if am telling my frnds(other then at pagalguy) to go for NM-B is coz I trust NM-B and it has given me ample reasons to trust.
Not so good insti- NM is in top 10 colleges of india. NM-B just needs time to grow
