An advantage of studying in NIBM is that one gets to interact and learn from industry experts and practitioners themselves. Mr. Sumit Joshi former CGM State Bank of India, currently faculty with SCMHRD, Pune conducted lectures for the first year students of NIBM. Through his vast experience and expertise in the field of banking he enlightened students on the various financial aspects of a bank from the perspective of the structure of a bank's balance sheet.
Here's a glimpse of the financial event conducted by the colllege- "NIBM: A flick through analytics" sponsored by Union Bank of India. The occasion was graced by Mr. Rajeev Uberoi, (General Counsel and Group Head Legal & Compliance, IDFC group) as Chief Guest. The panellists for the various panel discussions included the likes of Mr. Sivaram K R (CEO & Co-founder, Curl Analytics), Mr. Pawan Shidhaye (Director & Head of Risk Engineering, Barclays Technology Centre), Mr. Vilas Wakale (DGM-IT, Varroc Engineering Pvt. The best parts of the experience at NIBM are the many opportunities of interaction with the leaders and stalwarts of the banking and financial services industry. We, the students of NIBM were lucky to have been addressed by Mr.Dimpy Goyal, Vice-president, HSBC, when he visited the NIBM campus. He has an illustrious career in the financial services industry. He is skilled in portfolio management, financial risk, business relationship management, financial risk and corporate management. He gave us very practical and immensely useful insights into the credit risk sector of the bank. Such regular experiences only add to our development as future managers in this sector.
49 years of the presence of this esteemed institute-National Institute of Bank Management, and we could not do it without celebration. The foundation day event was graced by Shri Ashok Lavasa (Hon'ble Election Commissioner of India), Dr. Bharat Vatwani (Ramon Magsaysay Award Winner 2018).

It was a proud moment for NIBM as two of our students Ms Tanisha Gupta & Mr. Anshuman bagged the runners up prize at the intercollegiate competition Unnati held by IIT Bombay at their campus. The students got through the quiz round followed by a case study and finally a presentation that was made at the college campus to win the prestigious prize. Kudos to the team!
Admission Procedure Candidates seeking admission to the PGDM (B&FS) of NIBM should appear for CAT 2018/ XAT (2019)/ CMAT (2019). Candidates short-listed on the basis of CAT 2018/ XAT (2019)/ CMAT (2019) scores will be called for Writing Ability Test and Interview during April 2019 in select centers. Short listed applicants may have to take additional written test if required at a later stage. Application Form and Other Information Candidates should apply to NIBM by filling NIBM’s Online application form. The last date for submitting online application forms at NIBM is March 20, 2019.
