Dr. Trivedi has nearly 16 years of academic experience at K J Somaiya Institute of Management. He is also a recognized Ph.D. Guide at Somaiya Vidyavihar University, University of Mumbai, and SNDT University. He has successfully guided 7 Ph.D. and 3 M.Phil. students. Dr. Pankaj Trivedi was awarded a Ph.D. for his research in 'Business Strategy to Improve Profitability and Operational Efficiency of Public Sector Banks in India' from the University of Mumbai in 2000. He is also a Certified Associate Of IIB&F from the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance since 1992. Dr. Trivedi has a dual Master's degree - M.Com (Banking and Finance) and M.A. in Economics and Political Science. He has also served as a visiting faculty at DHBW University, Germany. He has also been involved in a research project for the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDA). He has conducted various training programmes for Company Executives in Public and Private Sector Companies like Indian Navy, Mahindra & Mahindra, Fiat, Kokan Railway, Reliance Infrastructure, Reliance Industries, etc. His research specialization includes topics such as Commercial Banking, Corporate Risk Management, International Monetary Relations, and Fiscal and Budgetary Policy.
