The campus also provides access to a substantial number of books in its library. There are student led committees that form the intertwining thread of a life of a student at ISDM. The teams formed are that of Social Media, Placement, Honor Code and Prevention of Sexual Harassment; all of which are spaces for students to take ownership for self and represent the organization while growing their leadership.A fortnightly space called ‘Baaithak’ has been created where the entire ISDM community of students and staff come together for celebrations. This enables that the team is connecting and building relationships outside the classroom too. Various activities like singing, dancing, drama, poetry, photo-walk, documentary screening, movie showcase and the like are taken up by the student and the founders. We also have a course called ‘Realizing India – Social and Cultural Aspects’ integrated in every term to enlighten us on the rich history and society of India from a development lens. Heritage walks and performances by eminent artists and lectures by socialists open our minds and hearts to amazing experiences. The melange of students coming from all parts of the country also provides the opportunity to embrace a new way of life. The entire fraternity comes together to celebrate occasions like Independence Day, Onam, Eid and Durga Puja.Overall, the school aims to build a culture of learning and leadership among its students on campus.
