As Dr. B.R. Ambedkar rightly said “Educate, Agitate and Organize” to all the Dalits in India, I humbly
request you to please spare a moment and have a look over an initiative by IIT-IIM Dalit graduates called as
‘Unify- the lit”, an Android based mobile application to organize the educated as well as agitated Dalits.
What can be done on this platform?
1. Help the Dalit Juniors & Get help from Dalit Seniors: Just create a ticket in a specific domain & sub-
domain of Bhim Buddy section and close it once the registered Buddy answers your queries.
2. Intellectual Discussions & Feedbacks: Share your thoughts to solve the caste related problem on
Bhim Board and understand other point of view too.
3. Abolish Manual Scavenging (and Scavenger’s) problem: Register complaints, if you witness manual
scavenging anywhere. Add a new technology product/solution for scavenging. Add a scavenger’s
profile and help directly.
4. Ensuring only Dalits on platform: Every user is given a power to unify more Dalits using their
referral code. New user will be able to use Bhim Board & Bhim Buddy only when current user
verifies the new user.
User Persona:
1. User can speak & write English.
2. User have read (or willing to read) min 3 writings of Dr. BR Ambedkar.
3. User has no political inclination.
4. User is not ashamed of his identity.
5. User prefers education over monetary benefits.
