A few memorable glances of the 10th Convocation Day Ceremony for the 2019 Batch hosted by Jaipur National University on Saturday 8th February 2020. The day was filled with excitement as the students started their new journey in the professional world. Our Hon'ble Chancellor Dr. Sandeep Bakshi encouraged the students to carry the legacy of JNU Jaipur into the real world. A total of 1950 degrees were awarded in various disciplines which included 75 Ph.D. degrees and 55 gold medals to the toppers. An interactive session with Prof. Ashish Chandra (University of Houston- Clear Lake, Texas, USA), Prof. William Stroube (University of Evansville, Indiana, USA) and Dr. David Wyant (Jack C. Massey College of Business, USA) was held on 16th January, 2020 at School of Business and Management (JNU Main campus), Jaipur National University, Jaipur.
During the session, Prof. Ashish Chandra pointed the importance of being innovative and creative in today’s competitive scenario. Taking healthcare one step forward the School of Life Sciences at Jaipur National University organized an International Seminar - “Bioinformatics in Healthcare” on 25th January 2020. The dialogue during this seminar fascinated the students regarding the field of bioinformatics in healthcare.
Dr. M. Krishna Mohan, Senior Scientist at BISR was the Chief Guest of the seminar. The seminar was inaugurated by Dr. Sandeep Bakshi Hon’ble Chancellor and Prof. H.N. Verma, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, the seminar witnessed the viewpoints of eminent keynote speakers. More than 350 young researchers participated in the conversation. Visualizing the future of healthcare sector, Dr.M. Kapil Jhalani from Munchner Leukaemie Lab, Germany talked about the contributions of artificial intelligence in leukemia diagnosis.
Sharing the glimpses of the successful event Fashion Fiesta, presented by the School of Fashion Design, Jaipur National University organised the event with an aim to bring a synergy of creative ideas amongst students. The event witnessed a massive turnover of enthusiastic contestants competing for the title. Participating in the two innovative themes - Waste To Wow & Ancient Egypt, JNUites scorched the ramp with their confidence and charisma.
