I converted my call of IIM-Indore.
However I have also got admission offer from MDI (PGPM). I am confused what to join.
On the face of it, I feel like going for IIMI as it gives IIM brand. However, MDI has better infrastructure, excellent faculty and good reputation for past 37 years. In many rankings (incl pagalguy rankings), MDI has been ranked 2 places ahead of IIMI. I spoke in detail with a guy who has done his PGPM from MDI and he told me that the kind of jobs that people get (profiles as well as packages) are same as those at IIMs. MDI also has a unique exchange program with 30+ foreign institutes, hence more than one third batch goes to foreign institutions for a semester or two and equivalent no of foreign students come here.
Regarding drawbacks of MDI, its fees are high (8 lacs for 2 years) but that is not a criteria for me. Also heard that number of international offers at IIMI are more.
Please guide me in taking the decision.

:mohit are you all right . their are many who do not have iim call including me and their are others who have MDI convert but no IIM convert ask them how much it values for other. this brand name will change your life and acceptance in market as well as society one of my friends prasun is an IIM passout and i am always amazed by seeing his tashan .don't go by rankings i have seen rankings including a college like **** in top 10 or SYMBIOSIS better than some of the IIMs so why don't you opt for that . as a fellow puys i will strongly recommend you not to waste this golden oppurtunity . moreover would like to share that the 6 IIMS, 6 IITS ,AIIMS ,NITIE are the few colleges created by govt. of india as "CENTRES OF EXCELLENCE".

Hey even if u r waitlisted, jus keep the hope, give a call to admission office after a couple of days, they will tell the WL number. based on the number of final calls they have given out this year, u can estimate.
Last year, WL cleared till 50 odd.
