Cannot beleeve this puys.....
Just one call......and I converted that!!!!!

Was not able to post after the result was out...almost fainted!!!
And the thread tat gav me the strength to live for tis last month - SC Uphold OBC, got closed btwn tat...
I sincerlely thank each and every dedicated member of this wndrful forum which actually helpd in a big big way to convert the call.....
Special thanks to all the regualar puys in SC Uiphold OBC thread...who kept advicing,debating,helping fellow puys and also pestered the IIM guys for info!!!!

me too waitlisted. wait for another week.
waitlisted in mdi(80) should be able to convert that.
i wonder how many people got confirmed calls and how many got the waitlist notice.
that should give some idea about our chances.
from what i recall ...last year there were 180 seats and 680 odd confirmed calls.
they later came out with a waitlist of 400 as there were still a few seats left. the waitlist went up to 50.
so 730 calls for 180 seats...970 calls for 240 seats???

After seeing 4 rejections since morning,finally I made it through IIM Indore.
Wow..it feels so nice,so wonderfull. frankly speaking I can not hold back my tears.I am crying like a baby. But this time these tears are of joy. And yes,I'll be a IIM grad.
My dream have come true

I am waitlisted too 😞 ... I remember last year they did not give the WL no. initially but then they gave WL no.s on phone after a day or two ... So maybe we should wait for a day ir two for things to clear up.

Guys am thru IIM Indore. Its a dream come true for me (Never felt so good in the past 6 yrs) . Feel like thanking pg and puys who were always there fr support throughout this journey. Congrats big time to all the convertees. Waitlisters hope fr the best as it is hope that gets u thru:cheers:. Others just keep the faith as u r destined fr better things.

Finaaly the day is here......Made it to IIM Indore.

Had a lone call from IIM I..........n converted it as well .

seems it hasn't yet sunk in.......I still have a strange feeling .

Hi puys,

I converted my call of IIM-Indore.

However I have also got admission offer from MDI (PGPM). I am confused what to join.

On the face of it, I feel like going for IIMI as it gives IIM brand. However, MDI has better infrastructure, excellent faculty and good reputation for past 37 years. In many rankings (incl pagalguy rankings), MDI has been ranked 2 places ahead of IIMI. I spoke in detail with a guy who has done his PGPM from MDI and he told me that the kind of jobs that people get (profiles as well as packages) are same as those at IIMs. MDI also has a unique exchange program with 30+ foreign institutes, hence more than one third batch goes to foreign institutions for a semester or two and equivalent no of foreign students come here.

Regarding drawbacks of MDI, its fees are high (8 lacs for 2 years) but that is not a criteria for me. Also heard that number of international offers at IIMI are more.

Please guide me in taking the decision.
