For starters, got this info from previous threads and FB groups :
1) It would take atleast 1.5 - 3 months in joining depending on luck as it will be in batches.
2) IDBI bank has exellent work environment and infrastructure, corporate culture prevails in every branch, with medium to high work pressure depending on location.
3) IDBI bank has largest no. young employees among all PSU,most of them are MBAs and Engineers.
4) Highest salary among all PSU banks.Inhand salary Salary 32K+ at any location (excluding HRA which is 8k for metros and 6-7k for class A cities).
5) Proposed to be merged with PNB and Vijaya bank to be 3rd largest bank in the country.
6) Fastest promation track among all banks.
7) Training is for 3 months - 2 weeks in Hyderabad and then 10 weeks in Nagpur, finally posted to your branch.
Common Written Examination-II of IBPS for POs/MTs (Advertised in March 2012)
List of documents to be brought by the candidates
The candidate should bring attested copy as well as the original certificates/testimonials in support of the following: (i) The Original Score Card issued by IBPS for the examination conducted for the Common Written Examination-II for Pos / MTs advertised in March 2012
(ii) Print out of the application form submitted to IBPS at the time of applying for the Common Written Examination-II for Pos / MTs advertised in March 2012.
(iii) Date of Birth (School Leaving Certificate/10th Standard Passing Certificate),
(iv) Educational qualification Individual Year wise / semester wise Marksheets of all years of graduation as well as Provisional Degree Certificate/Final Degree Certificate issued by the University / College.
Please note that the candidate should have completed his/her graduation on or before January 01, 2012. [Date of publication of result of graduation / date of marks sheet of last subject cleared in graduation should be on or before the cutoff date.
High school (Class 10th) Marksheet and passing certificate. Intermediate (12th) marksheet and passing certificate. Marksheets and degree for Post graduation, if any
(v) Caste Certificate/PWD certificate from the competent authority (for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). Candidates belonging to OBC category should bring the latest OBC certificate in original alongwith attested copies thereof issued by the competent authority on the prescribed proforma. OBC Certificate should be of a
recent date and in the Central Government format with suitable mention about creamy layer. (Candidates having certificate with "Non-creamy layer Clause" only would be eligible for reservation as per the Government of India guidelines.) The caste indicated in the OBC/SC/ST certificate should be appearing in the central list of the concerned State Government, failing which, the caste certificate would be treated as invalid. (vi) Documents related to Experience, if any. Experience Certificate/s (from past and current employers) and Relieving Letter/s (from past employer/s) issued by competent authority, Offer Letters, Appointment Letters, Pay/Salary Slips clearly indicating the designation, date of joining and date of relieving for each of the past/previous employment. (vii) Ex-Servicemen must produce Discharge Certificate issued by Defence Authorities. (viii) Photo Identity Proof (PAN Card/ Driving License / Voter ID Card etc and any other document which the candidate may like to produce. (ix) Two (2) copies of CV duly signed with photo affixed on the same and duly signed across.
(x) 6 recent passport size photographs
(xi) 3 copies of the
Attestation Form (duly filled in original & attested by the competent authority as indicated in identity certificate) (format is available on IDBI Bank's website.
(xii) An affidavit duly stamped (as per the provisions of the local Stamp Act where affidavit is being sworn) and executed before a Notary or Special Executive Magistrate or Commissioner appointed by the Govt. if there is a variation in the candidate's name spelt out in his/her various certificates/testimonials
and/or If the candidate's name as appearing in his/her certificates/testimonials differs from the name that is indicated in the application form for the post.
Please note that if the candidate fails to produce even one of the above mentioned documents, he/she will not be allowed to appear for the medical check up.

seniors please elaborate regarding the possible date of medical and joining for second list candidates for IDBI bank. Do they give choice posting as they ask for 3 preferred states for posting in CV. How is working culture and timings, work load as PO in IDBI ?
