Hello everyone...I am starting this thread to share the experience of all those who have changed their name after class 10th and have write CAT or other management exams before or are going to give this year. As mentioned by almost all of the test conducting institutes it is customary to fill your name as mentioned exactly in your 10th marksheet...and if someone has changed his name later on and have all the photo ID proof with his new name then what he should take with him as a proof of identity at the time of giving the exam.
Yes exactly.! Even i have the same problem.
Same names in 10th and 12th. But its different in my College Marksheet !!
What do i do ? A simple affidavit would do or something else ?

I have different names on my College and School marksheets. And I have no official document or say Photo ID proof or say haven`t legally changed it.
Now I`d need to change my name legally( Full procedure) and then get my new 10th 12th marksheets ? Or Just the procedure would do ?
Or Just an affidavit..saying person in both the marksheet with different names are same.
Plz someone reply !!!
