What angle did u get n how???
in triangle ABD we get cosBAD = 15/25
then in triangle ADE sinEAD = AD/15 or 20/25 = AD/15
therefore AD = 12
also AE = 9
and from fig u can see that AE = FB
so we an find CD = AB - AE - FB = 7
so area = 1/2*12*(25+7) = 192
@sampras : Thnx a ton

@sscjindabad : for 3 we have 2 eqn:

2(b/2+l)=38
2(b + l/2)=34

solve n get ans,
post ur logic fr 4 n 5 plz

Oops.. Thanx for the correction .. :)

doubles in 3 hence will become 4 times in 6 yrz. Now 4*2=8 n 4*1/2= 2
so we need 6 hence in 1.5 yr more it will be 6 times,
hence ans= 7.5 yr ???
will not be exact 7.5 yr............but around 7.7 or 7.8 something...
@JS-M : ohh !! how to do ur appraoch plz :)

Yes yar.. the same formula.. nothing new.. after solving u'l get 2 = (6/5)^n need to find the n but no direct method u need to multily 6/5 4 times with itself to get the ans more than 2 as the question demands. So the ans = 4yrs
i think ans is 7+1/2 years

@sscjindabad : yar 5 mei yahi kiya that!! made dumb multipication error n same for 4

Make sure u do such mistakes in the forum,,,,Perhaps this the purpose of the forum...
@007pagal

@ss.r@sscjindabad

@rahulshaitan

i think for the 5th question in question didn`t mention the squares must be same size so ans is 11->none of these
@nellorereddy : only same sized sq tile will ever give least no :)
