Think Twice Before Applying BSNL JTO Because of Following Reason:
1. Very Less Stipend (Training Allowance) after Joining.
2. Selected candidates Sign a Bond in the format as specified by the Company to serve in BSNL for a period of two years from the date of their appointment as JTO(T)( JUNIOR TELECOM OFFICER TELECOM) or a period as specified by BSNL (More than 2 year) for the post from time to time.
3. After Selection as JTO selected Candidates undergo training as per the training plan laid down by the Company. If the official do not qualify the pre-appointment training in 1st attempt, he/she will be given one more chance to qualify the pre-appointment training examination, failing which he/she will not be appointed as JTO (Junior Telecom Officer Telecom) and he/she has to appear afresh in the subsequent Direct Recruitment Examination.
4. Selection Cutoff make on Circle bases.
5. After Selection (Name in Cutoff List) No request for withdrawal of candidature received from a candidate will be entertained under any circumstances. Any dispute in regard to the recruitment will be subject to the Courts/Tribunals having jurisdiction at New Delhi.
6. Final Year Candidates are Not allowed as per my Friends father Because of Point number 2 and 5 So Final Year Candidates not allowed here which is very sad For us .
7. Bad Review by current working Employees Don't dream for JTO in BSNL...
Dear I am working in BSNL for last 8 years as Jto.3rd PRC most probably not going to implement in BSNL. Worst HR policy. salary includes only Basic + Da .Allowances are almost Nil .Till date BSNL Employee yet to get their due of 3 Rd PRC.U ask anyone who works in BDNL they will tell the same thing. I know job scenario Situation. Still even if u do not get into BSNL do not disheartened. As per my advice keep BSNL as Ur last option...

Now when CS/IT candidates(who are nearly double in number as EC candidates) are getting equal preference in BSNL JTO recruitment as EC candidates, CS/IT selected candidates will be deployed in indoor centralized computer operated jobs, where as EC selected candidates will have to slog hard in outdoor field Radio Frequency maintanence jobs as Radio Frequency jobs can not be alloted to CS/IT selected candidates!!
