Hi Saman and others,

I am from Noida and have a brother who has done his undergrad from Amity. AFAIK the IB specialization is the best that Amity Business School has to offer, and the placements in IB can go upto 8 lkh p.a, but the mean is around 4.5. I can't speak of other courses and specializations, but I have heard the offers are lower.

On a personal note, I wouldn't do an MBA from an Amity study center out of Noida. Being in Amity will assure you of a placement, but in more cases than not the placement will not be commiserate with your qualifications and will depend on the forces of the market. On the positive side Amity Noida has a good alumni network and is located in a strategic industrial belt.

guys amity sucks bigtime esp amity global varsity,its nt recognized by the ugc and placements are very poor!!im a dropout from amity by choice will be givin 2009 cat and 2010 xat!!!

hey friends.. i would like to take admission in amity noida. i have almost 99%ile in MAT. i am interested in operations specialization. i would like to know if operations specialization is available in amity. how good is the course and placements. should i apply for it (ie under MBA general i think).

Thank you. also tell me if there is any other college under MAT giving operations as an elective.

hi frinds i had the problem .i tried to learn from the web site of the amity and from friends is that ,amity global business schools r not good.these school provide pgpm by amity global business school and a fleximode ugc redognized mba degree from amity university .as i know only much value is given to the actuall amity university campuss noida .these global school even dont have a mat or any other cutt of please guied because i god a post at home and no persone to guide .thanks in advance :

Friend....1st things first...top placing program is MBA(Gen.)...2nd place goes to MBA(IB)...
& rest are all alike.....If u really are in confusion..do luk if u have other colleges in hand..or otherwise simply call dem & ask placement report of Ur Specific program>>>

But d best way is to visit d campus & ask d seniors of ur programme>>>Afterall..ur it is point for ur Career

i hv got selected in amity.And i applied for MBA-IB.
i would lke to knw one thng actually in my form i hv chosen hostel faclilty,but nw i dnt want to live in hostel, i will be living wid my parents.
soo, i wud jst lke to knw dat is it mandatory to take hostel if we have filled dat it in our form??coz nw i dnt want to take hostel.
