@iamnishant same doubt and also if I am sending someone on does he require any letter of authority from my side . Since I require my original documents for future interviews , is it mandatory to send my original documents along with the photocopies or would the photocopies suffice?? TIA

You can authorize someone (by writing an application) to complete the formalities on your behalf.

For the first query - yes
For the second query - you can write an application mentioning the reason why you require original documents and also mention that you will submit the originals before the session starts otherwise your admission will be cancelled.
Received clarification from the department on the two important issues :
1. Those who are unable to come in person to complete the admission formalities, can authorize someone on their behalf to do that. They need to write an application cum undertaking for the authorizing stating the reason why they are unable to come in person (please write an appropriate reason).
2. Those who need their original certificates back after completion of admission formalities , should write an application cum undertaking stating the reason (please write an appropriate reason) why they need the documents back and also by when they will be able to submit the originals. In any case, Originals need to be submitted at least one month prior to the start of session.
3. Whoever has either of the above mentioned issues, should also email on [email protected] and [email protected] at the earliest possible explaining their reasons.

I am waitlisted at position 8 for MFC, so till the next merit list is out, i don't have to do anything, right? Or do i have to pay some caution deposit?

I could not complete the procedure (dint submit the fee) I told this to the person concerned (Mr Sunil) and he asked me to go bak and put up an email on admission@mfc.edu. Since then I have not recvd any communication from the dept. regarding that.
Also, i have my PIs in the next 3-4 days so wont be able to cum to the dept again next week. I wish to complete the formalities tomoro itself. Please help me out with this situation. thanks......

Write an application stating the reason why you will not be able to submit the originals at this moment (mention that you have more interviews lined up and you need the originals for that). also mention by when (exact date) you will be able to submit the originals certificates in the department.
Since you were asked to write an email, I hope you have done that already if not please do that as well.
