@kshitiz_mfc
sir u created a see saw game for "yes" n"no" in my mind.... :(
plz help!!
@kshitiz_mfc how are the scores for class X and Class XII are calculated for the admission procedure..?
Do they follow the norms of the particular board or we have to submit an average of all the subjects.. bcoz in as per ISC board.. we only consider the marks of best of 5 and best of 4 respectively to determine the final percentage..
last year CAT cutoff for OBC category ??
@kpraveen010 for OBC category candidates there would be no pre defined cut off.They may get call for GD+ interview easily if they are above 80ile in cat.But der acads+ gd+interview matters alot.Last year, Around 80ile in cat + very strong acads are converted the call.

@kpraveen010
Yes, you should apply. There is a good chance that you might get shortlisted if you score well in CAT.
@kshitiz_mfc Just curious - What is the differentiation basis for candidates belonging to different state and central boards for weight-age to tenth and twelfth grade percentages ? How is the graduation from different state universities compared w.r.t. the degree from IIT/NIT or premier institutes/universities like St. Stephens/JNU ?
@quartlifecrisis
No, we do not have any special criteria/weight-age for different boards.
And as far as graduation is concerned, there is no added advantage of a degree from premier institutes in shortlisting process, although if someone makes it to the GD/PI round than he/she may showcase it in the interview.
I too expect straight answers.
Xth- 93%
XII- 89.6%
Maths- 91
Pursuing B.E (Bachelor of Engineering) from NSIT, University of Delhi with percentage at the time of applying being 66%.
Gave cat today and may get anything above 95 percentile.

What's the question?
If it's regarding the application, then you should apply too.
It's a general request to everyone, that please calculate your index score according to the criteria mentioned in the very first post, if you are above the border(last year's cutoff) than you should apply.
Although this won't guarantee the GD/PI call as the shortlists are relative and depend upon the pool of people applying.
@kshitiz_mfc sorry for such vagueness in my last post. Actually my question should have been about calculating the index score. How can I do so? I hope you don't mind my ignorance.
@adityaknsit
It's not a problem. The criteria to calculate index score is mentioned in the very first post. Just have a look at it and even then if you have some doubts then pm me.
The pgm offered is PGDM or somethinf else???
@VSK1608
No, I would like to clarify this to everyone that program offered is Master OF Finance and Control. It's a two year fulltime masters course in Finance, not management.

To add further on the answer given by kshitz_mfc,
Your marks sheet total (whether it has shown total of 5 or 6) is taken into consideration and not the best 4 subjects' total.
Hope you got your answer.
Hope you got your answer.
