Aspirant Relations Team
SIBM, Pune
@ shouryasen the undertaking to be filled has one point as:
As I am working in Company / PSU/ Government organization I will complete necessary formalities regarding resignation before I join the programme and I will bring NOC in case of Government organization or PSUs and in case of private organizations resignation acceptance letter from previous employer. Students working in Government organizations/ PSUs will be allowed to pay fees provided they submit a copy of application submitted to the HR Department of respective organizations for relieve from services. They will be allowed to join course by submitting NOC from their Head Office.
I am working with a PSU. I have the following queries:
1. Is it necessary to resign ? What if I get educational leave for two years?
2. Regarding submitting of the copy of the application to HR dept. before fee payment, do we have to send the copy by mail or post and to whom?
I feel a member of the Aspirant Relations Team would be better suited to answering such technicalities...
Dont want to mislead you in any way as I clearly have to clue regarding your situation...
Cheers!!

you dont have to dig too far. check out shourya's post on the prev page regd the no. of people who cleared ultimately. he mentioned it was around 84 people.
imo, the no. may increase this year as there are more top colleges accepting CAT scores than earlier. I wouldnt lose hope if I were you but then hope is subjective and the decision to hope or not to lies entirely with you :D
PS: I got rejected but I havent lost hope yet π

Would like to paste a phrase for the ones who are rejected and dejected like me.
"Mann ki ho toh achcha hai, na ho toh aur bhi achcha hai, kyunki USKI (GOD) mann ki ho rahi hai"

I can get it from Shourya's post that sbi has something called scholar's loan for sibm. Is this the best one available in the market or is there a better product out there?? Cheers!!

Found this on SIBM website:
SIBM Pune assists in securing accommodation for outstation students. The facilities are available in close proximity to the campus and students are charged a nominal fee. The Foreign Students Cell, in turn, assists foreign students in all their accommodation requirements.
Assist? Are hostels given to students within the campus or are arrangements made for finding hostels nearby??
Congrats to all who have cleared! All the best for the best two years of your life ;)
Regards,
Vivek.

I have no idea what that meant... but I can assure you... we all live in the hostels inside campus...
as 1st yr students you will be provided with twin sharing rooms and attached baths at whatever the hostel fees that they have specified...
do not worry about this aspect so much...
Cheers!!

That section requires editing.. it most probably refers to situation four years back when our campus was at SB road.. with limited hostel facilities... ppl used to stay in rented houses... π
