Common Entrance Examinations (CETs) are an important aspect of the admissions process. With a well-known degree like MBA, numerous admission tests such as the CAT, CMAT, MAT, and CET have been held. For admission to various programmes, a variety of state-level and institute-specific entrance exams are required. One of them is the MAH-CET, which is a mandatory competitive exam for admission to the B-Schools of your choice.
The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test, often known as MAH-CET, is a competitive entrance exam administered by the Maharashtra Directorate of Technical Education. MAH-CET is an online-computer based entrance management admission exam for management programmes such as MBA and MMS. Various Maharashtra institutes have made it mandatory to appear before being admitted to their college. More than 400 MBA colleges have used the MAH CET exam as a stepping stone to admission. SPJIMR, JBIMS, and Kj Somaya are just a few of the top MBA colleges. It has been set for the second week of March this year. The DTE Maharashtra Government has not yet announced any specific dates.
The MH CET is primarily a speed-based test, with questions varying from basic to intermediate in difficulty. The exam is categorized into four portions, each with its own set of Objective Questions. It would include a wide range of academic topics, including logical reasoning, abstract reasoning, verbal ability, numerical aptitude, and reading comprehension. All of this must be completed in 150 minutes (1 hour and 30 minutes), with each portion including 50 questions. There is no negative marking in this test, as in other competitive tests. If you wish to practise or get a feel for the test structure, there are online question papers available. Colleges and even individuals can use this test to evaluate their performance.
