According to the schedule, the admit card for JEE Main 2025 Session 1 will be released three days before each exam date. For the January 22 exam, the admit card will be available on January 20. The JEE Main 2025 Session 1 exam schedule has also been announced. Paper 1 will be conducted on January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29, 2025. Paper 2 is scheduled for January 30, 2025, from 3 PM to 6:30 PM.
Additionally, the exam city allotment for JEE Main 2025 has been released. Candidates can check their NTA JEE Main city intimation slip for Session 1 using the link provided on this page or on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The registration for JEE Main 2025 Session 2 will be open from January 31 to February 24, 2025. The application process for JEE Main 2025 Session 1 has already concluded, with registration taking place from October 28 to November 22, 2024.

The Joint Entrance Examination (Main), commonly known as JEE Main, is an entrance exam for admission to BTech, BArch, and BPlan courses at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and institutions or universities recognised or funded by participating state governments. Additionally, JEE Main serves as a qualifying test for JEE Advanced, which is used for admission to IITs.
JEE Main is conducted twice a year, providing students with two opportunities to achieve a high score. Candidates can choose to appear in one or both sessions.
To gain admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), candidates must meet the minimum cutoff marks in JEE Main. With millions of students competing annually, thorough preparation is essential for aspirants.
The JEE Main 2025 exam will consist of three papers:
Paper 1: For admission to BE/BTech courses, consisting of questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics based on Class 11 and 12 syllabi.
Paper 2A and 2B: For admission to BArch and BPlan courses, respectively. Paper 2A covers Mathematics, an Aptitude Test, and Drawing, while Paper 2B includes Mathematics, an Aptitude Test, and Planning-based questions.
The JEE Main 2025 exam will be computer-based, except for the Drawing section in Paper 2, which will be pen-and-paper-based. The NTA has announced changes to the JEE Main 2025 exam pattern: Section B will now consist of only five questions per subject, and all five questions must be answered without any option to choose.
JEE Main 2025 Exam City Intimation Slip Released

JEE Mains 2025 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the JEE Main exam, candidates must have either completed or be appearing for Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects. While there is no age limit or minimum marks requirement for appearing in the exam, candidates can attempt it for up to three consecutive years following the year they complete Class 12. Key eligibility points include:
Candidates must have passed Class 12 in 2023, 2024, or be appearing in 2025.
No minimum percentage is required to appear for JEE Main, but candidates must obtain at least 75% marks in Class 12 to be eligible for admission to IITs, NITs, or IIITs.
Mathematics must be a compulsory subject in Class 12.
There is no age limit for JEE Main.
JEE Mains 2025 Registration
The NTA has closed the JEE Main 2025 session 1 application process. The application form was available online on the official JEE Main website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, from October 28 to November 22, 2024. Registration for JEE Main 2025 session 2 will begin on January 31, 2025.

Applicants must upload scanned copies of their passport-size photograph and signature while filling out the form. Candidates in the PwD/PwBD category are required to upload a scanned copy of their category certificate. Those from the OBC-NCL or Gen-EWS category must provide details of the certificate’s issue date and the name of the issuing authority.

JEE Mains 2025 Exam Pattern

JEE Mains Cutoff
