JEE Mains 2025 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the JEE Main exam, candidates must have either completed or be appearing for Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects. While there is no age limit or minimum marks requirement for appearing in the exam, candidates can attempt it for up to three consecutive years following the year they complete Class 12. Key eligibility points include:

  • Candidates must have passed Class 12 in 2023, 2024, or be appearing in 2025.
  • No minimum percentage is required to appear for JEE Main, but candidates must obtain at least 75% marks in Class 12 to be eligible for admission to IITs, NITs, or IIITs.
  • Mathematics must be a compulsory subject in Class 12.
  • There is no age limit for JEE Main.
