IRMASAT Cutoff

The IRMASAT exam has been discontinued, and admissions will now be based on scores from other management exams such as CAT, XAT, and CMAT.

IRMASAT Cutoff:

The Institute of Rural Management (IRMA) has announced the qualifying cutoff marks for the 2025 admissions. The cutoff for IRMASAT 2025 is as follows:

  • Candidates who score 80 percentile or higher in CAT 2024, XAT 2025, or CMAT 2025, and meet the Profile-based call criteria, are eligible to be shortlisted for the IRMASAT and GD/PI process.
  • Candidates who score 85 percentile or higher in CAT 2024, XAT 2025, or CMAT 2025, and meet the Merit-based call criteria, are eligible to be shortlisted for the IRMASAT and GD/PI process.

IRMA will issue two types of calls to prospective candidates:

  1. Profile-Based Calls
  2. Merit-Based Calls

IRMASAT 2025: Cutoff Percentile for Shortlisting Candidates for IRMASAT/GD/PI

Below is the cutoff percentile for shortlisting candidates for the IRMASAT/GD/PI process:

Criteria for Profile-Based Calls:

  1. Graduation in fields such as Development, Agriculture, Dairy, Public Policy, Sustainability, Veterinary Sciences, or Food Technology.
  2. Work experience in the Development Sector, Dairy, or Public Policy.
  3. Excellence: Graduation from top universities and colleges.

The actual cutoff marks for admission to the 2025-27 batch will be released after the IRMASAT 2025 results are announced. These cutoffs will be posted on the IRMA website and used for selecting candidates for the next round of the admission process. The minimum cutoff for the exams is determined by the exam authorities and is used for assessing the candidate’s overall performance.

IRMASAT cutoffs are based on the overall performance of candidates in the entrance exams that year. Below are the category-wise minimum cutoff marks for the 2025 admissions, which can provide candidates with an idea of the expected cutoffs for 2025.

Note: CAT, CMAT, and XAT scores are used for screening domestic students for IRMASAT, while GMAT or GRE scores are valid for foreign students.
