IRMASAT 2025: Eligibility Criteria (PGDRM)
The eligibility criteria for IRMASAT 2025 are outlined below:
Eligibility for Domestic Candidates:
- Applicants must hold a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized state or central university.
- A minimum of 50% aggregate marks or an equivalent CGPA is required. For SC/ST/DAP candidates, the minimum aggregate is 45%.
- Final-year students can also apply, provided they submit proof of qualifying the final year by September 2025. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of their candidature.
- Candidates must have scored at least the 85th percentile in CAT 2024, XAT 2025, or CMAT 2025 to be eligible for Merit-based Calls.
- Candidates with 80th percentile or higher in CAT 2024, XAT 2025, or CMAT 2025, and who meet the Profile-based Call criteria, are also eligible.
Eligibility for Foreign Candidates:
- Applicants must be graduates in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent from a recognized university.
- They must have appeared for GMAT/GRE (from 2016 onwards) and obtained a score that meets the minimum cutoff set by IRMA.
- Foreign candidates are not required to take the IRMASAT exam but must participate in the Group Activity and Personal Interview rounds.
Eligibility for Sponsored Candidates:
- The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institution.
- The candidate should have worked with the sponsoring organization for a minimum of two years (as of July 1, 2025) as a full-time regular employee.
- The sponsoring organization must be willing to grant uninterrupted leave to the candidate (if selected) for the duration of study at IRMA.
- The sponsoring organization should agree to cover the applicant’s fees and other dues to IRMA.
- If the candidate returns to complete the second year of the program after a break of three years, they must continue with the same sponsoring organization and provide a “No Objection Certificate (NOC)” from them.
- There is no age limit for appearing in IRMASAT.
Qualifying Marks
The qualifying marks for IRMASAT 2025 are as follows:
- Candidates who score above the 80th percentile in CAT 2024, XAT 2025, or CMAT 2025, and meet the Profile-cum-Merit-based Call criteria, will be eligible to be shortlisted for IRMASAT 2025 and the Group Activity (GA)/Personal Interview (PI) process.
- Candidates who score above the 85th percentile in CAT 2024, XAT 2025, or CMAT 2025, and meet the Merit-based Call criteria, will be eligible to be shortlisted for IRMASAT 2025 and the GA/PI process.
Both IRMASAT 2025 and the GA/PI process will be conducted online for shortlisted candidates this year, as opposed to the previous years when the GA/PI process was held at the IRMA campus.
IRMASAT 2025 Registration
The IRMASAT application process is conducted online. The IRMASAT 2025 application form will be available on the official IRMA website (https://irma.ac.in/). Candidates who wish to take the IRMASAT 2025 exam must complete the online application form and register by paying the application fee.
The application process includes the following steps:
- Create a new user profile by filling out the IRMASAT registration form with details such as name, date of birth, gender, email ID, phone number, etc.
- Complete the IRMASAT application form using the registration number and password.
- Upload the necessary documents in the required format.
- Pay the IRMASAT application fee via credit/debit card, internet banking, UPI, or other online payment methods.
The IRMASAT 2025 admission process consists of six steps:
STEP 1: IRMASAT 2025 Registration
Candidates must create a login ID on the official IRMA website by providing basic personal details such as name, date of birth, email ID, and phone number.
STEP 2: Filling the IRMASAT 2025 Application Form
After successfully creating a login ID, candidates can log in to the IRMA website and complete the online application form. The application process is considered complete only after the application fee is paid.
STEP 3: Payment of Application Fee
The IRMASAT 2025 application fee is INR 2,000 for general category candidates. Candidates from reserved categories receive a 50% fee concession. The fee can be paid online via credit card, debit card, or net banking.
STEP 4: IRMASAT 2025 Admit Card
IRMASAT 2025 admit cards will be available for download on the official IRMA website from the date specified in the admission calendar. Candidates must bring the admit card to the exam hall and retain it throughout the admission process.
STEP 5: IRMASAT 2025 Exam
IRMASAT is typically conducted in a computer-based test format. In 2022, candidates took the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) instead. The same selection criteria will apply in 2025.
STEP 6: IRMASAT 2025 Result
The results will be announced online. Candidates can check their scores on the official website using their PIDs. After the results are declared, shortlisted candidates will be invited for Personal Interviews and Group Activity rounds. Those who miss this round will lose the opportunity for admission.
IRMASAT 2025: Exam Centres
The IRMASAT 2025 exam, along with the Group Activity-Personal Interviews (GA-PI), was conducted offline this year. In an official statement, IRMA confirmed that both the GA and Personal Interview (GA-PI) will be held in offline mode. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to the next round, where they must participate in the Group Activity on the same day as their Personal Interview. During the GA, candidates will be required to speak for 2-5 minutes on a given topic, assessing their rural aptitude and written communication skills.

NRI candidates will be shortlisted for an Online Personal Interview (OPI) based on their GMAT (taken from January 2020 onwards), CAT 2024, XAT 2025, or CMAT 2025 scores for the PGDM (RM) 2025-27 batch. These interviews will be held in the third week of March 2025.
Final selection will be based on the candidates’ scores from GMAT (taken from January 2020 onwards), CAT 2024, XAT 2025, or CMAT 2025, and the Personal Interview (PI). The scores from the GMAT, CAT, XAT, or CMAT exams and the PI will be weighted at 60% and 40%, respectively, and a final merit list will be created based on the total score out of 100 marks.
IRMASAT 2025 Exam Pattern
