To be eligible to apply, candidates must pass class 12th or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
For Lateral Entry, candidates must pass Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50% marks or pass B.Sc. Degree from a UGC recognized University and obtained at least 50% marks and studied Mathematics as a subject in class 12th.

Centralized Admission Process
Candidates interested in taking admissions to any course need to follow the given steps to make an application:
- All eligible should register at DTE website compulsorily, for admission against both CAP and ILA seats.
- After online registration candidate should take printout of application form and appear for confirmation of application form and document verification by visiting any one of the designated Facilitation Centers (FC).
- Thereafter, candidates must get acknowledgement from FC to participate in the remaining admission process as per the merit list published on the DTE, website.
- Candidates are required to pay registration fees as given below through online mode (Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking).

- Any candidate applying under Institution Level Quota are required to fill the Admission Application Form (AAF) provided for download on the college website.
- AAF can also be obtained from the Admission Counseling Centre, NYSS office, Atrey Layout, Pratap Nagar, Nagpur.
- The duly filled in AAF can be submitted personally/ by speed post / courier by remitting an application fee INR 1000 via cash or Demand Draft.
- The Demand Draft should be issued in favor of ‘Principal, YCCE, Nagpur’, payable at Nagpur.
