Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur Overview

XLRI admissions are primarily based on the XAT score for Indian candidates and GMAT/GRE scores for both national and international candidates, followed by a Personal Interview (and/or Group Discussion). XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test) is an online exam accepted for admission to XLRI Jamshedpur, as well as other institutes across India.

Applicants for XAT can register for both the XAT exam and XLRI Jamshedpur admission through a single registration. The registration fee for XAT Jamshedpur is INR 2100, and candidates must register on the official XLRI Jamshedpur website at xlri.ac.in.

The XLRI application form is available for an additional fee of INR 2200. Candidates applying for multiple XLRI Jamshedpur programs must pay an extra INR 200 per program.

XLRI has a total of seventy full-time faculty members who specialise in various functional disciplines. The Faculty-Student Ratio at XLRI is approximately 1:10. XLRI also invites professional faculty from all around the world through its faculty exchange programs. The faculty members at XLRI are experts in various fields such as Economics, Finance, General Management, HRM, Marketing Management, etc. All of the faculty members at XLRI hold degrees from prestigious universities all over India, including IIM Calcutta and the University of Maryland.

Xavier Labour Relations Institute Jamshedpur offers hostel accommodation for its full-time residential program students. The college has four hostel blocks on its campus, providing a total of 400 rooms. XLRI is located across two campuses - the Old and the New Campus. The New Campus has single occupancy hostel rooms available for first-year students, while second-year students are provided hostel rooms on the Old Campus.

XLRI's International Student Exchange Program (ISEP) allows almost 20 percent of the MBA batch to spend a semester studying abroad in the world's leading management colleges. The program is available to students enrolled in both the Human Resource Management (HRM) and Business Management programs.
