XIME Bangalore Scholarships

XIME, spanning its three campuses, persists in acknowledging and promoting the exceptional performance of its students while providing financial assistance when needed. For the fiscal year 2022-23, the allocation for student recognition exceeded INR 50 lakhs. This year, the institute aims to further increase this allocation. The details of the scholarships are outlined below:

• The Prof. J Philip Scholarship is awarded to a high-achieving student at the Bangalore Campus. Prof. Philip, the Principal Founder of XIME, currently serves as the Chairman of XIME Bangalore.

• The Fr. Dr. E. Abraham S.J. Scholarship is established at XIME Bangalore in remembrance of one of the founders of XIME and the longest-serving Director of XLRI.

• The Prof. J.D. Cherayil Merit Scholarship is available at XIME Bangalore in memory of the late Prof. Cherayil, a highly regarded Senior Professor at IISc and a co-founder of XIME.

• The Sarosh J Ghandy Scholarship is granted to an outstanding student at XIME Bangalore. Mr. Ghandy served as the Chairman of XIME from 2000 to 2010.

• The XIME President Scholarship is provided at each campus, with scholarship amounts ranging from INR 1.5 to 6.0 lakhs.

Additional scholarships are awarded periodically, typically distributed during the Independence Day or Republic Day celebrations at each campus. Apart from the annual scholarships, several academic achievement awards are presented during the Convocation. Notably, there is a special accolade known as the Best All-Round Performance Award.

• The Bangalore Award is established by Triune Company, Delhi.
• The Kochi Award is instituted by Sunny Diamonds.
• The Chennai Award is established by OBO Bettermann.
