VITBS Vellore Placements:
The placement cell of VIT Business School is known as the PAT Center and it facilitates training activities of the students and makes sure that they get placed in the companies that come to the institute as recruiters. They organise campus interviews for the final year students with industries and business houses of repute from all over India. Hundreds of companies come over to VIT in order to recruit students.
The entire procedure has three major steps.

- Training
- Eligibility Criteria – 60% in X, XII, UG and PG as applicable – No Current Arrears
The placement process begins in either January or February period with the final year students registering for placements. Training and preparations for the interviews begin at the end of February and the start of March. July and August see the best companies categorised by VIT as, “Super Dream” companies start coming in to recruit. These include companies like, Google, Amazon and their ilk.
September sees the financial service companies coming in for recruitment. By the end of the month, more Super Dream companies come in along with companies belonging to a slightly lower tier known as the “Dream” companies. This process continues until November of that year.
December sees a break in recruitment activity. With the beginning of a new year, January sees the start of campus recruitment interviews for all branches. This stops in April, thereby, bringing the entire placement to an end.
