VGSOM IIT Kharagpur Course Admissions 2025: MBA

The MBA program offered by VGSOM is a flagship postgraduate program that spans over two years and requires full-time residential attendance. The selection of candidates for the MBA program is based on their scores in the CAT entrance exam. The total fee for the program is INR 12.85 Lakhs.

To be eligible for the VGSOM (IIT Kharagpur) MBA program, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, Medicine, or a similar discipline with a minimum of 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST/PwD), or a Master’s degree in Science, Economics, or Commerce (with Mathematics or Statistics at Bachelor’s level) with a minimum of 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST/PwD). Candidates who are in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.

The Executive MBA (EMBA) program at VGSOM is tailored for working professionals. It spans across 12 semesters and has a duration of 3 years. Upon completion of the program, students are awarded the MBA degree from IIT Kharagpur. The total fee for the EMBA program is INR 6,00,000.

The eligibility criteria for VGSOM’s (IIT Kharagpur) Executive MBA program is as follows: Candidates must have a first-class Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology with a minimum of 60% marks (50% marks for SC/ST/PwD) or a first-class Master’s degree in Science, Economics or Commerce (with Mathematics or Statistics at Bachelor’s level) with a minimum of 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST/PwD) and a minimum of 3 years of work experience.

Candidates applying for the PGDBA program must possess a Graduate or Post-Graduate degree with a minimum of 60% marks in B.Tech./B.E./M.Sc./M.Com or equivalent, obtained through a 10+2+4/10+2+5/10+2+3+2 educational system. VGSOM IIT Kharagpur Course Admissions 2025: PhD

VGSOM provides a PhD program in several specialisations, including Finance and Accounting, Marketing, Organisational Behaviour & Human Resources, Production & Operations Management, Business Analytics & Information Systems, and General Management. Successful candidates of the PhD program will receive a stipend of INR 31,000 for the first two years and INR 35,000 for the remaining three years.
