Library
The Institute has developed a modern Library which is a repository of periodicals, national and international journals, working papers and dissertations. It also caters to a number of online databases.
The library of Vidyabharti Trust College of MCA is quite modern and tech savvy that started functioning right from the time of inception of the Institute.
The library maintains separate collection of Reference Books, Text Books, General books, Working Papers and other documents, whereas the non book collection consists of video cassettes, Compact Discs, etc. Faculty members are requested to make regular requisition of latest books to add value to the Knowledge Centre and equip the library with the latest collection of books. The library also has the latest collection of periodicals, magazines and newspapers. Journals are available both online as well as in printed volumes.
The Library is also equipped with the latest E-Resources (E-Books, E-Journals, and Data-base).The SOUL Library software which is nationwide recognized as well as RFID Library Management System is being used for the purpose of house-keeping of library activities and networking systems such as intranet, internet and Wi-Fi. The RFID technology makes the circulation of books easier as the end-users can do the ISSUE and RETURN through the KIOSK and DROP BOX machine respectively, along with the use of smart proximity cards. The entire Library is covered by CCTV.
Hostel
To avoid the inconvenience caused to the students in daily travelling to and from the college, particularly to those residing at far away places from the college, the Management has build separate hostel for girls in the campus.
Canteen
Institute’s Cafeteria is located in the spacious and airy campus. A variety of food and snack items are provided to the students and staff of the Institute at highly subsidized rates. It serves delicious and hygienic food. It is open for everyone who comes to visit campus and is operational during college working hours. Adequate seating facilities are provided to accommodate students and staff even during peak time.
Canteen has a big kitchen with steam cooking facility. The canteen is provided with electrical automatic cooking and storing facilities, which provides hot lunch, snacks and beverages both to the students and staff at reasonable rates. It is well maintained with efficient service and a take away counter.
Transport
For the transportation of the students and staff the college has more than 15 buses plying through every nook and corner of Surat city and its suburbs. The bus routes are operated after taking into account the need of the students.
Institute provides its own bus transportation facility from Surat City which covers various routes to draw the students and staff commuters from various locations of Surat City along with the pickup points on linear connectivity. Such facility renders comfortable and almost pickup of commuters near to their doorsteps.
