Admission is solely based on merit and is contingent upon seat availability, following the guidelines issued by the University of Mumbai and the Government of Maharashtra. The admission process adheres strictly to standard norms and internal merit. Any changes in admission guidelines will be communicated through the college notice board and the college website www.upgcm.ac.in during the admission period. The college management does not entertain any donation or capitation fee for admission to any course. The public is advised to avoid any misleading information regarding admission against donation.
Submission of Application for Admission
The college will exclusively conduct the admission procedure through its own online system. A comprehensive notice outlining the admission schedule and online application details will be accessible on the college website www.upgcm.ac.in and the college notice board. For Minority/Open Merit Seats: Applicants are required to submit a separate printed copy of the duly filled online application form, bearing the generated application number, along with necessary documents and a fee of Rs. 100/- [Rupees One Hundred Only] at the college office by 12:30 p.m. (sharp) on the last submission day as specified in the admission schedule. The admission schedule details are available on the college website and notice board. No further communication will be sent to the candidates. It is the candidate’s responsibility to check the notices and merit lists displayed on the college notice boards and website as per the schedule. No excuses for ignorance of the procedure will be entertained or accepted in case a candidate misses an opportunity.
Basic Eligibility
To be eligible for admission to the three-year integrated courses, a candidate must have successfully completed the H.S.C. Examination (Arts, Science & Commerce) conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Pune, or an equivalent examination.
Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Management offers BSc in IT, BMS, and BMM programs at the undergraduate level.
For BSc (IT), candidates who have completed 10+2 from the Maharashtra Board of Higher Education or its equivalent with Mathematics & Statistics as main subjects and have secured a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% for the reserved category) are eligible to apply. Those with a Diploma in IT, CE, Computer Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Video Engineering, Mechanical, and Allied Branches, Civil, and allied branches with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for the reserved category) are eligible for direct admission to the second year of BSc (IT).
The minimum eligibility requirement for BMS program admission is that candidates must have passed HSC or completed a Diploma in Engineering after SSC or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC or ST candidates).
Applicants who have completed HSC or its equivalent examination in Science, Arts, or Commerce streams are eligible for admission to the BMM program.
Admission to all courses is granted based on the candidate’s merit in the qualifying examination following the guidelines of the University of Mumbai and the Government of Maharashtra.
