Symbiosis Law School, one of India’s leading law schools was established in June 1977 at Pune. The institute was formerly affiliated to Pune University but became a constituent college of Symbiosis International University in 2002.
SLS Pune offers Graduate, Post Graduate, Diploma and Certificate courses in various disciplines of legal studies. It has been selected by Ministry of Social Welfare, Government of India to award scholarships for SC/ ST students.
- Applications for admissions have to be submitted online.
- For admissions to five year Integrated LLB courses, candidates must have passed class 12 th from a recognized board.
- Admissions to these courses will be through Symbiosis Entrance Test followed by SLS Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).
- For admission to 3 year LLB course, candidates who have completed graduation are eligible to apply. Admissions will be through Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).
- Candidates who have obtained Bachelor’s in Law are eligible to apply for LLM course for which admissions will be based on Symbiosis All India Admissions Test (AIAT).

SLS UG Admission 2018
Symbiosis Law School offers five year course in legal studies offering dual Bachelor’s in Arts & Law and Business Administration & Law. Candidates applying for five year integrated courses must have appeared for Symbiosis Entrance Test (
SET
).
Qualifying candidates must appear for Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) by SLS. Annual intake for the integrated courses is 300 students. Applicants must have successfully cleared Higher Secondary Examinations with at least 45% aggregate marks.
The institute also offers three year LLB course. Candidates who done Bachelor’s in any discipline with minimum 45% aggregate marks are eligible to apply. Admissions will be based on Written Ability Test (WAT) followed by Personal Interview (PI) and Writing Sample (WS) by SLS Pune.

- At the time of Personal Interview (PI), candidates must bring Statement of Purpose in not more than 250 words.
- Final merit list will be based on candidate’s performance in Personal Interview (PI) and Writing Sample (WS) round.
- Candidates applying for Integrated Courses must pay the fees for both SET and SLS Pune Entrance Exam (WAT-PI).
SLS PG Admission 2018
At post graduate level,
SLS Pune
offers two year LLM course for which the annual intake is 60 students. Applicants must hold three/ five year Bachelor’s in Law as minimum educational qualification for admissions.
At least 50% aggregate marks must be scored in the qualifying degree examinations. For admissions to the course, candidates must appear for Symbiosis All India Admissions Test (AIAT) followed by Personal Interview by SLS Pune.

SLS Application Process
Applications for admissions to the law courses at the institute have to be submitted online. The application fee for each course has to be paid offline. Applicants can follow the steps given below for application submission:
- Visit Symbiosis Law School Pune portal.
- Select the Admissions tab under the Menu section at the home page.
- Select the course of application.
- Click on link given in Step 1 of the application procedure of the selected course.
- Register with the valid details.
- Login and complete the application details.
- Proceed to pay. Application fee for different courses is mentioned below:

- Payments for LLM and LLB have to be made either in cash or through Demand Draft.
- For cash payments, application fee has to be deposited along with the print of ‘Counter Payment Advice Form’ at the admissions office.
- DD has to be drawn in favor of Director, Symbiosis Law School Pune payable at Pune and send it to the following address:

- Candidates must mention their registration number and name at the back of the DD.
- For payment for BA, LLB and BBA, LLB payment can be made online as well as offline.
- For offline payment, Demand Draft has to be drawn in favor of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune and sent to Symbiosis Test Secretariat, Symbiosis International University, Gram: Lavale, Tal: Mulashi, Pune 412115.
Reservation
Seats are reserved for candidates belonging to different categories in SLS, Pune. The percentage reservation for various categories is given below in the table:-

Scholarship
Symbiosis Law School Pune offers a number of scholarships and freeships for its students. The Kashmiri Flood Victims are entitled to entire fee waiver. Apart from this, other scholarships are also offered.
