SRMIST Delhi NCR Campus Scholarships
SRMIST provides numerous scholarships, fee waivers, and assistance for teaching and research to commendable and deserving students, benefiting a significant number of students. In the academic year 2015-2016, approximately 2,366 students availed themselves of various schemes, totaling INR 27 crores in scholarship distribution. To foster and aid students with exceptional abilities, several scholarships are established to acknowledge excellence in academics, sports, and deserving candidates. Selection Process:
Applications for both fresh and renewal scholarships, as per the prescribed form, are accepted annually in August/September. The scholarship office oversees the processing, and a committee comprising SRM University officials and external academics from other universities is responsible for selecting the awardees.
Scholarship Renewal: All aforementioned scholarships are renewable annually, contingent upon meeting established performance criteria.
Notes:
- The scholarships mentioned are for the first year only.
- Continuation of the scholarship in subsequent years is contingent upon academic performance in the immediate preceding year (without any interruption in studies).
- Eligible students must apply for scholarship renewal annually using the prescribed form available on the official website by the specified deadline.
- Failure to apply for renewal within the specified timeframe will render the student ineligible for the scholarship in subsequent years.
- The decision of the scholarship committee is conclusive and binding.
