Courses Offered at SP Jain School of Global Management
While the school is well-known for offering a variety of courses, at different levels, it has come to be recognised most for its postgraduate courses. With respect to the same, SP Jain School of Global Management offers different courses, each varying in length of study, location, and of course, the program structure.
Global MBA
Perhaps the most reputed programs at the school, the Global MBA program offers its students the opportunity to study in three different cities: Dubai, Singapore, as well as Sydney. It is a 12-month full-time program and is open to those who have had over three years of work experience. With a combination of in and out of classroom teaching; presentations, classwork, case studies, tests, discussions, practical work, etc., the program ensures that students are able to comprehend the study material not only in a way that can be applied in the real world but also such that they understand everything from a global perspective. Students who choose this program of study would be required to complete 36 credits by the end of it, with 23 credits in CORE COURSES, 7 in ELECTIVES, and 6 in APPLIED RESEARCH PROJECT / INDUSTRY PROJECTS. Some of the core courses include Macroeconomics, Marketing Management, Management Accounting, Statistics for Decision Making, Operations Management, Negotiation, among others, while the specialisation subjects include Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Contemporary Marketing Management, Global Finance, Information Technology Management, and Consulting Management.

Students will study 4 months at the Singapore campus and 8 months at the Dubai campus.
STRUCTURE AND CURRICULUM
- SP Jain’s GMBA program includes a new, enhanced curriculum designed to impart the cutting-edge skills of a ‘consultant’ and help students fast-track their career growth in a challenging business environment.
- In the initial term of the program, students build on their experience and gain a solid foundation in business through core courses in general topics of management like economics, finance, marketing and operations.
- As you progress, you can customise your MBA experience to your career goals by choosing what you want to study – pick electives across different areas to develop a cross-functional perspective or specialise in any one functional area of management.
- The Applied Research Project/Industry Projects are a mandatory component of the program and are undertaken in each of the three terms of the program.
ASSESSMENT METHODS
A range of well-thought and planned ongoing assessment methods and tools have been used in the design of each unit towards providing adequate assurance of the unit learning outcomes and the overall alignment of the assessments to achieve the program learning outcomes. Assignments are both individual and group-based, varying across units. The assessment criteria are designed to gauge the intended learning outcomes of the unit.
