The process of application to programs offered by the institute differs from course to course.
For BE/ B.Tech programs:
Candidates applying for BE/ B.Tech are required to apply through TNEA counselling. The process of application is as follows:
- Candidate should register for TNEA by using his/her name, date of birth, gender, mobile number.
- Once the registration is successful, the candidate can proceed to fill the online application form.
- Payment of TNEA application fee (INR 500 for general candidates and INR 250 for reserved category) can be done online.
- A printout of the completed application form should be taken for future correspondence.
- A copy of the printed application from, accompanied by photocopies of educational documents, should be sent to the following address:

The following documents will have to be submitted along with TNEA application form:
- Original Special Reservation Form along with DD
- HSC/Equivalent Mark Sheet
- 10th Mark Sheet
- HSC Hall Ticket
- Transfer Certificate
- Nativity Certificate only in electronic form/digitally signed e-Certificate.
- Permanent Community Certificate Card for ST, SC, SCA, MBC & DNC, BC & BCM.
- First Graduate Certificate and First Graduate Joint Declaration (if applicable)
- Sri Lankan Tamil Refugee Certificate (if applicable)
For ME & MBA program:
Candidates applying for M.E. and MBA courses are required to apply through TANCET. The process of application for TANCET is as follows:
- Candidate must apply for TANCET by registering through the TANCET website.
- Both online and offline modes of application are offered by TANCET.
- Candidates are required to send a copy of the completed application form and photocopies of all relevant documents to “The Secretary, TANCET, Anna University, Chennai”
- In case of offline fee submission, a demand draft of INR 500 (INR 250 for reserved category) is to be enclosed with the application form.
- All TANCET applicants are required to take their respective tests on the assigned dates.
- Qualifying candidates are called for a university-level counselling based on which seats are allotted.

- Experience Certificate (if applicable)
For Ph.D program:
Application form for admission to Ph.D program are available for download from the official college website. Completed application forms along with all the enclosures should be sent to:

Documents to be enclosed along with the application form:
- Duly attested photocopies of certificates for proof of qualification (X standard or equivalent, HSC or equivalent, undergraduate & postgraduate mark sheets of all semesters & degree certificates)
- Community certificate (if applicable).
- Appointment order, Joining Report, Service certificate and NOC from the employer (If employed).
- A brief one page write-up on the Research topic chosen and duly signed by the Supervisor, Joint Supervisor (if any) and the candidate.
Note: SC/ST candidates should produce original community certificate at the time of admission for claiming Tuition fee exemption
SNS College of Technology (SNSCT) Reservation 2023
