SMVDU Scholarship
Depending upon your annual CGPA, under the Student Merit Cum Means Scholarship Scheme, one can get up to full 100% fee waiver on all the semester tuition, hostel and other arrangement fees. The SMVD University initiated and launched the SMMSS to incorporate wok culture and practice competitive spirit and nature among the students.
Other than the Student Assistantship Programme (SAP) has been around in Jammu and Kashmir since 2005. A student is required to maintain a minimum CGPA OF 7.5 without any backlogs.
It is a must that you should be in the top 10% of your class and should have a minimum score of 8.5 SGPA or above. The SMVDU scholarship is provided for B.Tech, B.Arch, MBA and M.Tech students as well.
- Each and every student covered under the scheme will be provided with semester Tuition and Hostel fee waiver.
- If there is a case where more than one student is eligible, because of having the same score, then all such students will be eligible for the full scholarship amount.
- Chairman of SMMSS will be processing the cases of eligible students recommended for award of scholarship based on the list of students made available.
- If there is any such case where the HoD or Dean has any information or objection regarding the eligibility criteria, he/she is allowed to render the student eligible for award of SMMSS.
