Manipal University Result 2024
MAHE Manipal administers Online Entrance Tests (MET) for admission into various UG and PG programs, excluding medical courses. Students can obtain their scorecards from the MAHE official website by providing necessary details such as application number. Following the result declaration by MAHE University, the counseling process ensues to allocate seats to deserving candidates.
How to Check MET Result 2024
To download their MET scorecard, students need to follow these steps:
- Visit to the official website of MAHE Manipal and locate the section for MET results.
- Enter your application number and proceed with submission
- Save your scorecard and make sure to attend counseling as per the provided schedule.
OTBS Rank Calculation 2024
The rank in the OTBS (Online Test Booking System) will be determined based on the Net Average Score (NAS). NAS is calculated by subtracting the number of failures from the marks obtained in the University/Board examination. In the event of a tie, the following criteria will be considered for admission:
If there is a tie, the student with the fewer number of failures will be ranked higher. To adhere to the NAS rule, each failure in a subject in a (semester/year) Board/University examination will be counted as one failure. Nonappearance in a particular subject during an examination will also be considered as a failure.
MET Counseling (UG Courses) 2024
For undergraduate programs, students who qualify in the MET are invited to participate in the counseling process, typically held at the following locations:
- Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal
- Manipal University, Jaipur
- Sikkim Manipal University, Sikkim
Candidates are required to bring the following documents (both original and photocopies) for counseling:
- e-Hall Ticket
- 10th standard marks card for proof of date of birth
- Class 10+2 marks card
- Conduct and Character certificate obtained on the School/College letterhead/pad. No other certificate will be accepted in lieu of this.
- Transfer certificate or School/College Leaving Certificate issued by the School/College. No other certificate will be accepted in lieu of this.
- Four recent and identical passport-size photographs and one stamp-size photograph
- Fees: As applicable for the program
- Copy of parents’ PAN card
- Authorisation letter if the representative is attending on behalf of the candidate

PG Medical Program Counselling 2024
Upon the announcement of the results of the qualifying examination, candidates are informed about the counseling process. Only those candidates who pass the entrance exam are eligible to participate in counseling. Candidates can choose their counseling venue from the list of centers available on the Online Test Booking System (OTBS).
During the counseling process, seats are allocated to students. In the event of a tie, the following factors are considered:
- Preference is given to the candidate with a higher percentage in university examinations.
- If two candidates have the same scores in both the entrance exam and university exams, preference is given to the candidate with fewer failures.
Candidates are instructed to attend the counseling venue with the following documents:
- E-Hall Ticket
- Certificate of Permanent Registration with any State/Dental Council of India
- MBBS/BDS degree certificate
- Certificate of completion of compulsory rotatory internship
- Marks cards of all professional examinations
- Postgraduate diploma certificate, if applicable
- Conduct and Character certificate from the head of the medical/dental college
