Upon the announcement of the results of the qualifying examination, candidates are informed about the counseling process. Only those candidates who pass the entrance exam are eligible to participate in counseling. Candidates can choose their counseling venue from the list of centers available on the Online Test Booking System (OTBS).

During the counseling process, seats are allocated to students. In the event of a tie, the following factors are considered:

  • Preference is given to the candidate with a higher percentage in university examinations.
  • If two candidates have the same scores in both the entrance exam and university exams, preference is given to the candidate with fewer failures.

Candidates are instructed to attend the counseling venue with the following documents:

  • E-Hall Ticket
  • Certificate of Permanent Registration with any State/Dental Council of India
  • MBBS/BDS degree certificate
  • Certificate of completion of compulsory rotatory internship
  • Marks cards of all professional examinations
  • Postgraduate diploma certificate, if applicable
  • Conduct and Character certificate from the head of the medical/dental college
