SME, IIT Jodhpur MBA Program Fee Structure (2025-2027)

The tuition fee for the program is INR 2,25,000/- per semester (subject to change). In addition to the tuition fee, students are required to pay the semester fee, admission fee (one-time), convocation fee (one-time), refundable deposits (one-time), dining fee, and any other applicable charges.

Note:
a. Students from SC, ST, and PwD categories are exempt from paying the tuition fee, as per government norms. However, they are still required to pay all other charges mentioned above.
b. Any changes to the fee structure are at the discretion of the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur. The detailed fee structure will be provided to the selected candidates along with the admission offer letter.

Eligibility Criteria and Selection Process for the MBA Program at SME, IIT Jodhpur

1. Eligibility Criteria

A. Academic Background:

Degree: Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognised Indian university or institution.
Duration: Minimum 3-year degree after 10+2.
Final-year students: Eligible to apply provisionally, must submit all certificates and a provisional degree certificate within 2 months of joining.

B. Academic Performance:

General/OBC/EWS: Minimum 60% marks in aggregate or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale.
SC/ST/PwD: Relaxation of 5% in the qualifying degree marks.

C. Entrance Exam:

Valid score in the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management.

2. Selection Process

Two-Step Process: Initial Shortlisting and Final Shortlisting.
Initial Shortlisting: Based on a composite score considering CAT score, work experience, and gender diversity. CAT cutoffs may be applied based on application volume.
- Work Experience: Full-time experience only. Experience in coaching centers, self-proprietary businesses, etc., will not be considered. 15+ days of work per month is counted as 1 month. Pay slips and relieving letters are mandatory.
Final Shortlisting: Based on composite score and Personal Interview (virtual).

3. International Applicants

Eligibility: Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognised foreign university. Degree equivalence verification through AIU.
Intake: 10 candidates.
Admission Process: Merit-based on GRE score of 300+ or GMAT score of 600+ achieved within the last 5 years.
Fees: SAARC: USD 3500 per semester; Non-SAARC: USD 6000 per semester (additional fees for institute overheads, hostel, and mess).
