Punjab Engineering College University of Technology – (PEC), Chandigarh Admission Process

Eligibility for B.Tech Courses:

• Admissions are based on Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main). Students who qualify the entrance exam will have to appear for the centralised counselling by Chandigarh Engineering & Architecture Counseling by Joint Admissions Committee (JAC).
• 75% marks in class 12th examination or top 20 percentile in 12th class examination conducted.

Eligibility for M.Tech Courses:

• Candidates will be selected through a valid score in GATE. The counselling will be based on Centralized Counselling for M.Tech. / M.Arch./ M.Plan (CCMT).
• Candidates must have a score of minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale in the qualifying degree examination

Eligibility for PH.D Courses:

• Candidates who score 60% aggregate marks or 6.5 CGPA in the M.E/ M.Tech in the concerned disciplines are eligible for the admission. Applicants with B.E/ B.Tech in the relevant disciplines with 7.0 CGPA or 65% marks in aggregate are also qualified to apply.
