PSG Institute of Management is a private business school located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Affiliated to Anna University, PSGIM offers various Postgraduate courses such as Masters of Business Administration (MBA Full-time and Part-time) and a 2-year Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM).

The 2-year MBA full-time course is offered in various specializations viz. Human resources, marketing, finance, Systems, and operations. In addition to it, PSGIM also offers a 3-year MBA part-time course and 2-year full-time PG Diploma in Management (PGDM) for which 2-year work experience is mandatory.

PSGIM MBA Admission 2023

PSG Institute of Management offers a full-time MBA program for a duration of 2 years. The institute also offers an MBA program in collaboration with the University of Toledo. 

The University of Toledo, USA in tie-up with PSG offers a two-year full time MBA program at the PSG campus. Under this program candidates can choose from two pathways:

Pathway 1To study both the years at PSG and degree awarded by University of Toledo

Pathway 2: To study one year at PSG and second year at the University of Toledo and degree awarded by the University of Toledo.

PSGIM​ MBA Eligibility: 

Candidates applying for the 2-year MBA full-time course must possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized university in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

PSGIM MBA Part-Time Admission 2023

The PSG Institute of Management offers part-time MBA program. The duration of this program is 3 Years.

Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized university in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. 

PSGIM MBA Part-Time Selection Process: 

The selection is based on the MAT/ CAT/ATMA/ TANCET score. PSG Institute of Management requires applicants to have 2+ years of work experience in order to apply for MBA Part TIme program.

Candidates should have worked as an executive or administrator in any commercial, government or industrial establishment. Shortlisted candidates are called for an On-Campus Group Discussion and Personal Interview round with a written test.

PSGIM also offers full time PGDM program for a duration of 3 years. Candidates having an experience of 2 years are eligible for admission. 

Eligibility: Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. 

PSGIM PGDM Selection Process: 

Selection is based on the merit of the MAT (Management Aptitude Test) score. A 2+ year work experience is mandatory for candidates applying for this course.

  • Shortlisted candidates are called for an On-Campus Group Discussion and Personal Interview round. 
  • Other than MAT scores, marks secured in CAT can also be taken into consideration.

PSG Institute Of Management How to Apply?

Application form for MBA program can be filled online by visiting https://onlineapplication.psgims.net/im.html. PSGIM MBA form can be filled in 2 ways, i.e. Demand Draft Mode and Payment Gateway mode. 

  • Register using E-mail and Fill in all the required details.
  • Attach a scanned photograph along with the application (size should be less than 30KB or 110×125 pixels).
  • Pay an application fee is INR 1000 which can be paid through Demand Draft (payable at Coimbatore) or through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Internet Banking facility.
  • Once the application is submitted, candidates will get a confirmation mail followed by an application number.
  • In two weeks, shortlisted candidates will receive a letter along with the dates for the interview.

Q. How can I apply for MBA in PSG?

Ans. To get admission to the PSG MBA 2021, you must apply from the official website: www.psgim.ac.in. After applying, you will be shortlisted on the basis of the scores obtained in CAT/MAT/TANCET for group discussion and personal interview.

Q. In case if I don’t get admission to an MBA program, can I apply for another management program? If so, what is the procedure?

Ans. Candidates who are unsuccessful in securing admission to the MBA program are eligible for application to other programs offered by PSGIM. However, candidates are required to fill in a separate application form with the same registration number. Eligible candidates then have to undergo all the selection process for admission.

Q. What are the programs offered by PSGIM?

Ans. PSGIM offers a two-year full-time MBA program approved by AICTE and affiliated to Anna University. PSGIM also offers 2 year PG Diploma in Management Program, which is approved by AICTE. Other than the full-time two-year MBA and PGDM program, PSGIM also offers MBA three-year part-time program at our campus.

PSG group of Institution has a tie-up with the University of Toledo and hence the University offers a two-year full-time MBA program.

Q. What is the process for getting campus accommodation?

Ans. Candidates seeking campus accommodation need to bring your valid proof of admission for any of the management program and place a request to the administrative officer for campus accommodation.

: Four members sharing with the attached bathroom approximately Rs. 96,500 per annum.
Type 2: Three members sharing with the attached bathroom approximately Rs. 1,05,000 per annum.

Q. What are the eligibility criteria and selection process for the UT MBA program?

Ans. Candidates seeking admission to MBA should have a recognized bachelor’s degree in any discipline. The minimum credit is 33 and a CGPA of 3.0 is required to graduate from this course.

Further, a minimum composite score of 550 in MAT and Language comprehension score of at least 40 percentile. Selection of the shortlisted candidates will be conducted on the basis of group discussion and personal interview.
