Students seeking admission to the undergraduate level B.Sc, BA, B.B.A., B.Com, B.C.A. and  B.Com. courses are selected based on marks secured in the Common Entrance Test which is conducted by the University each year.

Thus, Osmania University cut off is declared after Common Entrance Test scores are released. For admission to the LLB course, the university considers LAWCET  scores, conducted by APSCHE. Once the LAWCET scores are declared, 

Osmania University results or cut-off is also released. 

Similarly, admissions to the B.P.Ed courses are taken based on performance in the PECET conducted by APSCHE. Besides, admission to B.L.I.Sc is conducted through the Osmania University Entrance Test.

So the Osmania University cutoff is declared after OUCET scores are released. Whereas, for admission to the B.Tech, B.E. and B.Pharm. candidates are selected on the basis of EAMCET marks. 

In order to secure admission to the Postgraduate level M.A, M.Ed., M.P. Ed., MSW, M.L.I.S and Ll.M. courses candidates are required to appear for the Osmania University Entrance Test. Hence, Osmania University degree results are declared after Osmania University Entrance Test scores are released.
