NIFT Delhi Scholarships

The National Institute of Fashion Technology always gives key priority to the development of its students. Thus, it introduced a few financial strategies to help students who need financial support to continue their education. A considerable amount from NIFT Development Fund is being used effectively to provide scholarships every year.

Besides, it has Means-cum-Merit Financial Assistance scheme that helps students from a humble background to pay the fees. Furthermore, some leading organisations from the apparel sector also extended their support and encouraged the NIFT students in their academic and creative quest.

Also, pioneers in the related field instituted awards and scholarships such as ITC, HomeShop 18 etc in NIFT Delhi. The students will be eligible for scholarship only if he or she doesn’t have access to any other loan or Scholarship from any other source.

Some of the financial aids provided are:

• Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme –

Students need to clear the basic eligibility criteria mentioned in the MCMFS form at sl 5.0 to be eligible for the scholarship.

• Post Matric and merit-Cum-means Scholarship – 

Students belonging from minority communities like Muslim or Christian or Sikh or Buddhist or Jain or Parsi and studying in India only and fulfilling the Scheme guidelines are eligible to apply for these scholarships.

• Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students- 

Students belonging to SC or ST or PH or OBC category and has domicile of Delhi Aadhaar numbers linked with the bank accounts are only eligible for the scholarship.

• Post Matric Scholarship for SC students-

Students belonging to SC category need to link their bank accounts with their Aadhaar cards to be eligible to apply for the scholarship.
