NIFT Bhubaneswar Scholarship

In order to give its students all kind of benefits, NIFT Bhubaneswar has come up with a financial strategy that helps in increasing the students’ potential despite their current financial shortcomings. NIFT Bhubaneswar also contributes to the central NIFT funds, which is used to give several scholarships to the brilliant but economically disabled students.

Many top-class leading companies in the fashion apparel sector have stepped up to encourage and support NIFT students in the pursuit of creative and academic excellence. It is also to be noted that pioneers in these leading fields have instituted scholarships and awards namely, ITC Homeshop18 etc.

There are two financial assistance scheme or NIFT Scholarships in the NIFTs to assist the financially backward students. The SARTHAK is given to the students whose parental income per annum is below a specific level.

For undergraduate courses:

• If the income is less than 1.5 lakhs then the students will get 100% of the tuition fee.
• Whose parental income is between 1.5 lakhs to 2.5 lakhs will be rewarded with 75% of the tuition fee.
• 50% of the tuition fee is given to the students, whose parental income vary between 2.5 lakhs to 4 lakhs.

For postgraduate courses:

• If parental income is below or equal to 1.5 lakhs per annum, then 75% of the tuition fee will be rewarded.
• If the income is between 1.5 lakhs to 2.5 lakhs, then the scholarship will be 50% of the tuition fee.
• 25% of the tuition fee will be given whose parental income is between 2.5 lakhs to 4 lakhs.

This SARTHAK scholarship is not given to the NRI or NRI sponsored candidates.
