Admission to the Undergraduate and Postgraduate level courses is done based on the marks obtained in the entrance examination followed by a selection process in NIFT Bangalore. - NIFT Bangalore admissions for Undergraduate level B.Des and courses, candidates are required to appear for the General Aptitude Test or GAT and Common Admission Test or CAT. The candidates who score above the cut-off marks move forward to the Situational Test round. All applicants must pass the 10+2 examination in any relevant subjects with a minimum of 3-year Diploma in a relevant branch from a recognised board to be eligible to apply for the course.
- For admission to the undergraduate level B.F.Tech course, candidates are admitted to the programme on the basis of the General Aptitude Test or GAT scores. All applicants should have passed class 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from any recognised board to be eligible for the course. - NIFT Bangalore admission for the Postgraduate level M.Des and MFM courses, candidates are shortlisted based on the marks obtained in the General Aptitude Test or GAT and Common Admission Test or CAT examination followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview round. All applicants should have a Graduation degree in any stream from any recognised university to be eligible for the course.
