Students seeking admission to the National Institute of Design Kurukshetra need to appear for the Design Aptitude Test or DAT. Hence, NID cut off 2028 was declared after Design Aptitude Test scores were released. The candidates who scored above the NID cut off marks are shortlisted for Studio test, which is conducted at various centres of NID. Candidates must appear for the studio test at their allotted centres because the final selection for admission is done based on performance in the studio test round. Design Aptitude Test or DAT Mains result for Graduate Diploma Programme in Design or GDPD is generally declared every year in the month of May. A category wise merit list is published on the basis of DAT entrance scores. The merit list includes all categories including General, OBC-NCL, Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe and PH.
