NID Bangalore Campus Facilities

Established in the year 2006 NID Bangalore is also known as R&D campus. It is at a distance of three kilometres from Yeshwantpur railway station. The NID Bangalore address is located on National Highway four, which makes it easily accessible from any part of the country. 

Keeping the needs of the students the NID campus is designed with all the basic amenities. Spacious classrooms with modern amenities, an auditorium with an audiovisual system, seminar halls, lecture halls, laboratories for design purposes, studios with modern equipment. The huge library has a vast collection of books, journals, audio-video systems, online subscriptions etc. 

There are different labs for different purposes to enhance the creativity of the students. The wood lab is fully equipped with modern types of machinery and tools, which are needs to work with wood and make masterpieces like the designer table, chairs, doors, boxes, partitions, other pieces of furniture etc. It also has a printing lab with various techniques of printing. 

The campus is modernly designed. Separate girls and boys hostel with furnished rooms are provided to the students and make them feel like home. There are also some indoor and outdoor sports facilities for active students.

WiFi internet connectivity is given to students. Guesthouses were constructed for the parents and NID faculty. ATM service is also available within the campus. In addition to all these, there are also facilities of canteens, common room, stationery stores etc.
