MANIT Bhopal Internships and Scholarships

Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal provides financial aid and scholarships to deserving students based on merit and financial need. Scholarships available include the National Merit Scholarship, National Fellowship for Students from Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, Institute Merit-cum-Means Scholarship, Central Sector Scholarship Program for College and University Students, State Merit Scholarship, and Merit Scholarship for Students with Physical Disabilities.

Internship eligibility for undergraduate students commences after the sixth semester, requiring a minimum CGPA of 7.5 with no backlogs. A maximum of 10% of the class size can qualify for internships. Any expansion beyond this threshold requires approval from the Senate Chairman and must not surpass 15% of the class strength. Given that the B.Arch program entails a one-semester internship in the final year, only B.Tech/B.Plan students are eligible. To apply for an internship, students must follow the procedure outlined by the respective Head of Department (HOD).

Postgraduate students become eligible for internships after completing two semesters of coursework, provided they attain a minimum CGPA of 7.5. Applicants must submit a synopsis outlining the proposed work for the internship program. This synopsis undergoes review by the department committee to ensure its alignment with M.Tech dissertation standards. Prior to the conclusion of the internship, the candidate must present their dissertation work to the department. Moreover, applicants should liaise with the relevant Head of Department (HOD) when seeking internship opportunities.
