Lucknow University is one of the most highly regarded institutions in Uttar Pradesh. There is a massive number of students from all around the country who wants to take admission in this university. The university changes its cut off marks on a yearly basis regarding the entrance exams or interviews as well because of the rising competition. 

The candidates for the undergraduate level courses are being selected based on their merit score in their 10+2 examination. There are some courses like B.Tech, B.Tech Lateral where the candidates have to give entrance exams to get admitted. The students are selected based on their scored marks.

Students who are applying for the postgraduate courses are required to have a bachelor degree certificate in their discipline subjects with a minimum allotted marks. They are selected based on their scored marks in their respective undergraduate degree.

However, courses like  MBA, M.Tech candidates are selected on the basis of their merit score in entrance exams. Lucknow University MBA cut off marks are determined by the administrative authorities.

For the research level courses like PhD, M.Phil, candidates must have minimum 55% marks in their master’s degree. The final admission procedure includes a written test and an interview. The candidates who have secured more than the cut off marks are considered to be selected.
