MBA Admission 2020

A 2-year program with 4 semesters, the various specializations offered under this program include:

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for admission into the any MBA program 2020 in LM Thapar School of Management include:

1. Anyone of the following
   1. A graduate degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50% form a recognized university
   2. A post-graduate degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50% form a recognized university
   3. A graduate degree with a pass in all sections of the intermediate exam of CA or ICWA or ACS with at least 1 year of experience in positions of managerial or leadership posts with exemplary performance. In such cases, candidates are exempt from the minimum 50% aggregate requirement.
2. Additionally, candidates must provide a valid score card from any of the standardized management tests including
   1. CAT
   2. NMAT
   3. XAT
   4. CMAT
   5. MAT
   6. GMAT
   7. GRE
   8. or the Thapar Entrance test score.

Admission Process

A direct link to the online application is lmtsm.thapar.edu/admissions/apply-online.php Candidates will be shortlisted for admission to the course based on their standardized entrance tests and the final selection is based on their standardized test scores along with their performance in Group Interaction and Personal Interview rounds.

Important Dates

1. Last Date for application online – 10^th March 2020, Tuesday
2. Shortlisting of candidates – 12^th March 2020, Thursday
3. GD/PI process, Scholarship Test and Thapar’s MBA Entrance Test
   1. At Dera Bassi Campus – 22^nd March 2020
   2. At New Delhi location – 29^th March 2020

Note: Candidates are required to attend at either of the locations

4. Intimation to selected candidates – 2^nd April 2020
5. Final counselling and Fee deposit – 18^th April 2020
6. Start of the academic session – 1^st July 2020

Scholarships

A total of up to 75 scholarships are provided in all; 50%, 30% and 20% tuition fee waiver. Amongst these, 30 Scholarships are reserved for candidates applying through NMAT by GMAC score. 45 Scholarships are for candidates applying through other test scores.

Executive MBA Admission 2020

Every course under this program is of 18 months duration and classes are conducted on alternative weekends. The various specializations under this program include:

4. Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship (IME)
5. Operations and Technology Management (OTM)

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the Executive MBA program 2020 include:

1. A bachelor’s degree from any recognized Indian institution or abroad
2. A minimum of 6 years of work experience (candidates with good potential will be considered even with lesser number of years of experience)

Scholarships

A total of 30 scholarships ranging from Rs.50,000 to Rs.1,00,000 are offered for this program.
