Infrastructure

The sprawling lush campus spreads over 10 acres of landscape with Total Built up Area: 24500 m2 lodged with all modern amenities and basic infrastructure to run the professional courses in Engineering & Management domains

The campus has separate hostels for boys and girls. The wi-fi campus has a library and a student activity centre for co-curricular and extracurricular activities. KIT boasts a conference and seminar halls. The institute has three academic & and administrative block. Apart from there are Lecture Theatre, AC Fitted Class Rooms, Tutorial Rooms, Faculty Rooms, Office for the HODs, director’s office, administrative office, registrar’s office, maintenance office, Reprographics Room, Strong Room, Reception Lounge and the Visitor’s Room.

Campus have best in class 2 Seminar Rooms; Labs; Workshops and smart classrooms for Every Department.

Computer Lab: The computer centre is well equipped with all latest software and technologies. Presently the Department has 16 labs, all centrally air-conditioned with the capacity of 600 students. The campus is well equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity. There are 900 systems (intel i7/i5/i3, core 2 duo/dual core configuration ), 2- Apple Computer, 50 printers, LCD projectors, HP Scanner, digital camera, router connected to the network through 8 server.

Library: The library has more than 400 sitting capacity with air-conditioned rooms. It is fully automated with LibSys (Release 5.0 LAN Version with web OPAC) software in order to provide references service to its students, faculty members and staff members. Now permitted users can access the library through the internet/intranet. The library houses about 55865 volumes & Titles 4518 of books.

Hostel: KIT offers separate magnificent hostels for boys and girls with hostel warden in each hostel to supervise day to day management. All the rooms have been designed to provide adequate moving space and ample air and light. Each hostel has its own mess providing hygienic and nutritious meals a day.
