KIIT University Facilities
KIIT provides a wide array of amenities, including a library, hostels, cafeterias, gymnasiums, ATMs, sports facilities, and more. A brief overview of the facilities offered by KIIT University is as follows:
Library: KIIT boasts a central library that spans 6 floors and houses an extensive collection of resources. The library holds 13,63,885 books, 571 print journals, 16,806 bound volumes, 2,982 rare books, and a variety of other materials. Additionally, KIIT maintains a digital library with 1,69,470 e-books and 43,193 e-journals.
Sports Facilities: KIIT is a strong supporter of students’ involvement in sports and regularly organises sports events. It holds a unique distinction as the only educational institution with All India Chess Federation (AICF) membership. KIIT has garnered various accolades in the field of sports, including the Sportstar Award, Biju Patnaik Award, Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar 2022, and recognition from FICCI India Sports. The university boasts 18 sports complexes equipped with swimming pools.
Hostel: KIIT offers separate accommodation facilities for both male and female students. The hostels provide a variety of room types, including 30% AC rooms. Each hostel is equipped with amenities such as a reading room, dining hall, indoor sports facilities, internet connectivity, and more.
Other Facilities: The KIIT campus is further enriched with an on-site ATM, three guest houses, a post office, and a railway reservation center, all designed to enhance convenience for students.
Cafeteria: KIIT features a total of 15 food courts in addition to 20 canteens situated near the hostels. These cafeterias offer a diverse menu that includes Odia, South Indian, Chinese, and Continental dishes, catering to various culinary preferences. Students can also purchase snacks, ice creams, and beverages at these food outlets.

Seat Rent, Establishment & Electricity Charges :
- Non – AC Hostel – Two bedded Rs. 40,000/- per semester
- Non-AC Hostel – Three bedded Rs. 28,000/- per semester
- Non – AC Hostel – Two bedded Rs. 32,000/- per semester (only for Law Hostel)
- AC Hostel – Single Bedded Rs. 65,000/ per semester
- AC Hostel – Two bedded Rs. 60,000/- per semester
- AC Hostel – Three bedded Rs. 50,000/- per semester
Other Charges:
- Hostel admission & other fees – Rs. 15,000/- (one time)
- Student availing of premium facilities in a hostel-like attached toilet has to pay extra Rs. 10,000/- per semester.
